Join co-founder Nick Ishimaru and long time Kyogen practitioner Ryan Marchand for weekly training sessions in Kyogen, held at Theater of Yugen's Noh Space. Alongside Ryan Marchand, you'll have the opportunity to engage in enriching experiences every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Classes ongoing through April 23rd. Come Play...

Explore Noh drama and Kyogen, Japan's oldest theatrical traditions. Ishimaru has trained for over 10 years with Theatre of Yugen, Theatre Nohgaku, and Kita school master Oshima Teruhisa in Tokyo.

At the start of our class, Ryan Marchand teaches us how to tie a proper Obi. At the end of class, we learn how to fold a yukata so that it will be ready for next time.
